Cooperation with SERC

Bridge Education, the London Based International schools operator and the third largest further and Higher Education College in the United Kingdom The South Eastern Regional College (“SERC”), have signed a memorandum of understating and agreed to support each other in the development of opportunities that will benefit the progress and reputation of both organisations. Initial agreed areas of cooperation and support include: - Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and mentoring for staff members at The British International College of Cairo (“BICC”) and at SERC. - Significant support for BICC students who will explore a pathway of opportunities in further and higher Education at SERC, including discount on SERC’s International fees. - SERC will develop a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) that will allow for the provision of synchronous and asynchronous delivery of lessons and courses with BICC.   - Exchange expertise and advice to develop a complete engineering laboratory in BICC for the training of students and to support their professional and technical education.   SERC offers a range of full- and part-time courses and has over 30,000 students and over 1,000 members of staff. “We are pleased to support the growth of Bridge Education by enriching its Students and staff member's experience and capabilities,” said Mr Ken Webb, Principal and Chief Executive of South Eastern Regional College. “Our Educational expertise allows us to offer the students and staff members of BICC the very best solutions to meet their overall objectives.”  Bridge Education is a growing Educational investor and management company with a portfolio that Includes a significant minority stake in the British International College of Cairo,BICC, backed by Bridge Capital a London-based investment banking firm, focused on the British education sector internationally.
